A team day in the Ruhr: cruise in Duisburg’s inland port and climbing in a former steelworks.

Duisburg has one of the largest inland ports in Europe, where the Rhine meets the Ruhr: a surprising destination for a company outing that is out of the ordinary. Your group boards a guided cruise between quays, container ships and barges. In the afternoon, the Landschaftspark Duisburg-Nord, a former steelworks turned into a park, becomes your playground: a guided tour of the blast furnaces and climbing challenges in the old ore bunkers, to build trust within the teams. Évadons-nous takes care of everything: a touring coach from your company, booking of activities and meals. The programme is tailored to your budget, your group size (from 20 participants) and the date of your choice, with a personalised quote.

  • Departure from outside your company at the agreed time, by touring coach.
  • Drive to Duisburg in the Ruhr; our drivers drive for a maximum of 3 hours, then take a 30-minute break.

Good to know

  • A valid identity card is required for each participant.
  • Departure and return times adapted to your company’s working hours; several pick-up points possible.
  • For climbing, bring sportswear and a change of clothes; the activity requires a minimum age and depends on the weather.
  • Port cruises run mainly from April to October: season and times to be checked.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
