- Day 1Freiburg im Breisgau — welcome of your group at the airport or station, drive through the Rhine valley, Freiburg Minster and old town on the edge of the Black Forest, night in Freiburg
- Day 2Zurich and the Gotthard — old town of Zurich on the Limmat, crossing the Alps through the Gotthard tunnel, night in Lugano
- Day 3Pisa — drive across the Po plain and the Apennines, Square of Miracles, cathedral, baptistery and Leaning Tower of Pisa, night in Pisa
- Day 4Florence — Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral and Brunelleschi’s dome, Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, panorama from Piazzale Michelangelo, night in Florence
- Day 5Assisi and Perugia — Basilica of St Francis and Giotto’s frescoes in Assisi, medieval streets and Palazzo dei Priori of Perugia, night in Perugia
- Day 6Val d’Orcia — vineyards of Montepulciano and Vino Nobile, Pienza and its pecorino, hills and cypresses of the UNESCO-listed Val d’Orcia, Montalcino and Brunello, night in Siena
- Day 7Siena — Piazza del Campo, cathedral and Piccolomini Library, contrade of Siena, drive to Emilia, night in Bologna
- Day 8Como and Lucerne — drive through Lombardy, stop on Lake Como, Gotthard tunnel, Chapel Bridge in Lucerne, night in Lucerne
- Day 9Basel — old town and minster of Basel on the Rhine, return to Cologne, then transfer to the airport or station
