Day-by-day itinerary
- Day 1Lake Constance — welcome of your group at the airport or station, drive through the Rhine valley and the Black Forest, Meersburg and its old castle, ferry crossing to Konstanz, harbour and Imperia statue, night in Konstanz
- Day 2Mainau and the Rhine Falls — flower island of Mainau, Rhine Falls at Schaffhausen, arrival at Lake Lucerne, Chapel Bridge and Lion Monument, night in Lucerne
- Day 3Gotthard and Lugano — cruise on Lake Lucerne, Gotthard route, UNESCO-listed castles of Bellinzona, lakeside of Lugano, night in Lugano
- Day 4Lake Como — Como Cathedral, boat to Bellagio, pearl of the lake, Villa Carlotta and its gardens, village of Varenna, night in Lugano
- Day 5Lake Maggiore — drive via Locarno, Borromean Islands by boat, palace and gardens of Isola Bella, Fishermen’s Island, Stresa promenade, night in Stresa
- Day 6Simplon and Bern — Simplon Pass, Brig, Lötschberg car-carrying train, old town of Bern and Zytglogge clock tower, night in Basel
- Day 7Basel — Basel Minster and old town on the Rhine, return to Cologne, then transfer to the airport or station
