- Day 2Ypres — In Flanders Fields Museum, Menin Gate, Tyne Cot war cemetery, night in Paris
- Day 3Paris — Eiffel Tower, Seine cruise, Notre-Dame and Île de la Cité, Montmartre and Sacré-Cœur, night in Paris
- Day 4Chambord and Blois — Château de Chambord and its double-helix staircase, royal château of Blois, old town on the Loire, night in Tours
- Day 5Chenonceau, Amboise and Villandry — Château de Chenonceau spanning the Cher, Château d’Amboise and Leonardo da Vinci’s tomb, gardens of Villandry, Vouvray wine tasting, night in Tours
- Day 6Mont-Saint-Michel — abbey and Grande Rue of Mont-Saint-Michel, views over the bay, ramparts of Saint-Malo, night in Saint-Malo
- Day 7D-Day Beaches — Mulberry harbour at Arromanches, Omaha Beach, American cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, Pointe du Hoc, night in Caen
- Day 8Rouen — Notre-Dame Cathedral, Gros-Horloge, Place du Vieux-Marché and the memory of Joan of Arc, return to Amsterdam, then transfer to the airport or station
