Day-by-day itinerary
- Day 1Afsluitdijk and Harlingen — welcome of your group at the airport or station, crossing of the great Afsluitdijk dam, historic harbour of Harlingen, night in Leeuwarden
- Day 2Leeuwarden and the Frisian towns — old town of Leeuwarden and the leaning Oldehove tower, Sneek water gate, village of Hindeloopen, night in Leeuwarden
- Day 3Ameland — ferry from Holwerd to Ameland island, villages of Hollum and Nes, lighthouse and dunes, UNESCO-listed Wadden Sea, night in Leeuwarden
- Day 4Groningen — Grote Markt and Martini Tower, Prinsenhof, Groninger Museum, night in Groningen
- Day 5Giethoorn — boat trip on the canals of the village without roads, thatched farmhouses, return to Amsterdam, then transfer to the airport or station
