Day-by-day itinerary
- Day 1Frankfurt — welcome of your group at the airport or station, drive through the Rhineland, Römerberg square, imperial cathedral and banks of the Main, night in Frankfurt
- Day 2Regensburg and Passau — Stone Bridge and St Peter’s Cathedral in UNESCO-listed Regensburg, Passau, city of three rivers, night in Passau
- Day 3Wachau and Vienna — baroque Melk Abbey, Danube cruise from Melk to Krems between vineyards and castles, arrival in Vienna, night in Vienna
- Day 4Vienna — Schönbrunn Palace, Hofburg, St Stephen’s Cathedral, Ringstrasse and State Opera, evening at a Heuriger wine tavern, night in Vienna
- Day 5Bratislava and Budapest — castle and old town of Bratislava, St Martin’s Cathedral, drive into Hungary, evening cruise on the illuminated Danube, night in Budapest
- Day 6Budapest — Fishermen’s Bastion and Matthias Church, Buda Castle, Parliament, St Stephen’s Basilica, Széchenyi thermal baths, night in Budapest
- Day 7Danube Bend — artists’ village of Szentendre, Visegrád citadel, Esztergom Basilica facing Slovakia, night in Budapest
- Day 8Salzburg — drive via Győr and the Danube valley, Mirabell Gardens and Salzburg old town at sunset, night in Salzburg
- Day 9Salzburg — Mozart’s birthplace, Getreidegasse, cathedral and Hohensalzburg Fortress, drive through Bavaria, night in Würzburg
- Day 10Würzburg — Prince-Bishops’ Residence, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Old Main Bridge, return to Eindhoven, then transfer to the airport or station
