- Day 2Milan — Gotthard road and across Ticino, Milan Cathedral and its rooftop terraces, Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, La Scala, night in Milan
- Day 3Pisa — drive through Emilia and the Apennines, Piazza dei Miracoli and the Leaning Tower of Pisa, arrival in Tuscany, night in Florence
- Day 4Florence — Santa Maria del Fiore Cathedral, Ponte Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria, Accademia Gallery and Michelangelo’s David, night in Florence
- Day 5Assisi — Basilica of St Francis and Giotto’s frescoes, medieval lanes of Assisi, drive into Lazio, night in Rome
- Day 6Rome — Colosseum and Roman Forum, Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel, St Peter’s Basilica, Trevi Fountain, night in Rome
- Day 7Ravenna — drive through Umbria and the Apennines, Byzantine mosaics of San Vitale and the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia in Ravenna, night in Padua
- Day 8Venice — boat crossing to Venice, St Mark’s Square and Basilica, Doge’s Palace, Rialto Bridge, night in Padua
- Day 9Verona and Tyrol — Arena and Juliet’s House in Verona, Adige valley, Brenner Pass, Golden Roof in Innsbruck, night in Füssen
- Day 10Bavaria — view of Neuschwanstein Castle, drive through Swabia and the Saarland, return to Luxembourg, then transfer to the airport or station
