- Day 1Heidelberg — welcome of your group at the airport or station, drive through the Rhine valley, Heidelberg Castle, Old Bridge and old town on the Neckar, night in Heidelberg
- Day 2Lucerne and the Gotthard — Chapel Bridge and Lion Monument in Lucerne, crossing the Alps through the Gotthard tunnel, arrival on Lake Maggiore, night in Stresa
- Day 3Borromean Islands — boat to Isola Bella and its baroque palace, terraced gardens, fishing village of Isola dei Pescatori, stroll along the Stresa waterfront, night in Stresa
- Day 4Lake Garda — Sirmione peninsula and Scaliger Castle, lakeside walk on Lake Garda, drive to the lagoon, night in Venice
- Day 5Venice — vaporetto on the Grand Canal, St Mark’s Square and Basilica, Doge’s Palace, Bridge of Sighs, Rialto Bridge, night in Venice
- Day 6Padua and Florence — Basilica of St Anthony and Prato della Valle in Padua, crossing the Apennines, sunset from Piazzale Michelangelo, night in Florence
- Day 7Florence — Santa Maria del Fiore cathedral and Brunelleschi’s dome, Baptistery, Piazza della Signoria, Uffizi Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, night in Florence
- Day 8Como and Lugano — drive across the Po plain, cathedral and lakeside promenade in Como, old town and shores of Lake Lugano, night in Lugano
- Day 9Basel — return via the Gotthard, stop in Basel, cathedral and old town on the Rhine, drive to the Palatinate, night in Speyer
- Day 10Speyer — Romanesque Speyer Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, drive through the Rhineland, return to Amsterdam, then transfer to the airport or station
