A 3-day city trip to Zwolle for your group: the Sassenpoort, Hanseatic Kampen and a boat trip in Giethoorn.

Zwolle and Kampen, former Hanseatic towns on the banks of the IJssel, have kept their fortified gates, Gothic churches and merchants' houses. In Zwolle, the Sassenpoort and the onion-domed bell tower nicknamed the Peperbus watch over the centre. The highlight is Giethoorn, a marshland village whose old heart is explored by boat or on foot, among thatched farmhouses and little wooden bridges.

Programme

Day 1 : Journey to Zwolle

  • Morning departure from the location of your choice.
  • Drive to Overijssel and arrival in Zwolle in the early afternoon.
  • Guided tour of Zwolle: the Sassenpoort, the Peperbus and the Hanseatic quays (on request).
  • Check-in at the hotel.
  • Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 2 : Giethoorn

  • Drive to Giethoorn, about 30 minutes away.
  • Boat trip on the canals of Giethoorn (on request).
  • Walk past the thatched farmhouses.
  • Group lunch by the water (on request).
  • Return to Zwolle and group dinner in a restaurant in the centre (on request).

Day 3 : Kampen

  • Drive to Kampen, a quarter of an hour away.
  • Walk along the IJssel and through the old town gates.
  • Guided tour of the centre of Kampen and its Old Town Hall (on request).
  • Arrival back in your region in the evening.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
