A 3-day city trip to Amsterdam for your group: canals, the Rijksmuseum, the Jordaan and the windmills of Zaanse Schans.

Amsterdam is best discovered along its 17th-century canals, a UNESCO World Heritage Site lined with narrow-gabled merchants' houses. Your group strolls around Dam Square, the flower market and the Jordaan, with the option of the Rijksmuseum and its paintings by Rembrandt and Vermeer. On the last day, head for Zaanse Schans, where windmills, green wooden houses and craft workshops tell the story of the Holland of yesteryear.

Programme

Day 1 : Journey to Amsterdam

  • Morning departure from the location of your choice.
  • Drive to the Netherlands and arrival in Amsterdam in the early afternoon.
  • A first walk in the centre: Dam Square, the Begijnhof and the flower market.
  • Guided walking tour of the historic centre and the canal ring (on request).
  • Check-in at the hotel.
  • Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 2 : Canals and museums

  • Guided canal cruise (on request).
  • Walk through the Jordaan, with its quiet canals and hidden courtyards.
  • Visit to the Rijksmuseum and Rembrandt's Night Watch (on request).
  • Free time around Museumplein.
  • Group dinner in a restaurant in the centre (on request).

Day 3 : Zaanse Schans

  • Drive to Zaanse Schans, about twenty minutes from Amsterdam.
  • Stroll among the windmills, wooden houses and workshops (cheese maker, clog maker).
  • Visit inside a working windmill (on request).
  • Arrival back in your region in the evening.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
