A 3-day city trip to Utrecht for your group: the Dom Tower, the Oudegracht wharves, a boat trip and De Haar Castle.

Utrecht, a university city in the heart of the Netherlands, is centred on the Dom Tower, at 112 metres the tallest church tower in the country. Its canals are unusual in being lined with low wharves and old merchants' cellars, now turned into terraces and restaurants. Close by, De Haar Castle, rebuilt in the late 19th century by the architect Pierre Cuypers, impresses with its neo-Gothic towers and vast grounds.

Programme

Day 1 : Journey to Utrecht

  • Morning departure from the location of your choice.
  • Drive to Utrecht and arrival in the late morning.
  • A first walk along the Oudegracht and its low wharves.
  • Guided tour of the historic centre and Dom Square (on request).
  • Check-in at the hotel.
  • Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 2 : The Dom Tower and canals

  • Guided climb of the Dom Tower and its 465 steps, for good walkers (on request).
  • Boat trip on Utrecht's canals (on request).
  • Free afternoon: the Centraal Museum, the Miffy Museum for families or the Dom cloister garden.
  • Group dinner in a former wharf cellar along the Oudegracht (on request).

Day 3 : De Haar Castle

  • Drive to Haarzuilens, about twenty minutes away.
  • Visit to De Haar Castle and a stroll through its gardens (on request).
  • Arrival back in your region in the evening.

Good to know

  • Departure and return times adapted to the pick-up point chosen by your group.
  • A valid identity card is required for every traveller, including children.
  • The Dom Tower can only be visited with a guide and has many narrow steps, so comfortable shoes are recommended.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
