Zeeland for groups: Middelburg, Veere and the Delta Works

Day 1 : Journey to Middelburg

• Morning departure from the location of your choice.
• Drive to Zeeland and arrival in Middelburg in the late morning.
• A first walk around the Markt, in front of the Gothic town hall, then in the abbey courtyard.
• Climb of the Lange Jan tower (on request).
• Check-in at the hotel.
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 2 : Veere and the coast

• Drive to Veere, about ten minutes away.
• Stroll around the little harbour, in front of the Great Church and the Scottish Houses.
• Guided tour of Veere (on request).
• In the afternoon, a walk through the seaside resort of Domburg and on the North Sea beach.
• Group dinner in a restaurant in Middelburg (on request).

Day 3 : Neeltje Jans and Zierikzee

• Drive to Neeltje Jans via the Eastern Scheldt barrier.
• Visit to Deltapark Neeltje Jans and the inside of the storm surge barrier (on request).
• In the afternoon, drive to Zierikzee and a walk around the old harbour, between its medieval gates and the Dikke Toren.
• Boat trip on the Eastern Scheldt (on request).
• Return to the hotel at the end of the day.

Day 4 : Yerseke

• Drive to Yerseke, Zeeland's mussel and oyster capital.
• Stroll around the harbour and past the oyster beds.
• Visit to an oyster or mussel farm with tasting (on request).
• Mussel lunch in a harbour restaurant (on request).
• Arrival back in your region in the evening.
