A 3-day city trip to Groningen for your group: the Martinitoren, the Groninger Museum, canals and Bourtange fortress.
Groningen, a major student city in the north of the Netherlands, combines historic façades, canals and lively streets around the Grote Markt, overlooked by the Martinitoren. The Groninger Museum, set on the water opposite the station, surprises with its colourful architecture. On the last day, your group travels to Bourtange, a star-shaped fortified village restored to its 18th-century state, near the German border.
