2-day city trip to Spa for your group: Pouhon Pierre-le-Grand, thermal baths, Stavelot Abbey and the High Fens boardwalks.

Spa gave its name to spa towns all over the world; its Pouhon Pierre-le-Grand recalls the stay of the Tsar who came here to take the waters. Your group discovers the spa town, then heads to Stavelot, whose former abbey houses the museum of the Principality of Stavelot-Malmedy and the Spa-Francorchamps circuit museum. On the High Fens plateau, boardwalks cross peat bogs and moorland near the Signal de Botrange, the highest point in Belgium.

Programme

Day 1: Spa, the original spa town

  • Morning departure from the location of your choice.
  • Drive to Spa, arriving around midday.
  • Guided tour of Spa: Pouhon Pierre-le-Grand, Leopold II Gallery and Parc de Sept Heures (on request).
  • Relaxing afternoon at the Thermes de Spa (on request).
  • Check-in at the hotel.
  • Dinner at the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 2: Stavelot and the High Fens

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Drive to the Signal de Botrange and guided walk on the High Fens boardwalks (on request).
  • Drive to Stavelot and visit to the abbey and its museums (on request).
  • Group lunch with Ardennes flavours in Stavelot (on request).
  • Return journey in early afternoon.
  • Arrival back in your area in the evening.

Good to know

  • Departure and return times adapted to the pick-up point chosen by your group.
  • The High Fens plateau is often colder and wetter than the valley: warm clothing, waterproofs and walking shoes are recommended.
  • Some areas of the Fens may be closed when there is a risk of fire: we then adapt the walk.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
