A 3-day city trip to Bruges for your group: canals, the Markt and Belfry, the Beguinage, chocolate and an excursion to Damme.

The historic centre of Bruges, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, has kept its canals, its gabled brick houses and its medieval squares, from the Markt to the Burg. Your group discovers the Belfry, the Basilica of the Holy Blood and the Beguinage, on foot or by boat. A few kilometres away, Damme, the former outport of Bruges, is reached along a tree-lined canal.

Programme

Day 1 : Journey to Bruges

  • Morning departure from the location of your choice.
  • Drive to West Flanders and arrival in Bruges in the late morning.
  • A first walk from the Markt to the Burg.
  • Guided walking tour of the historic centre (on request).
  • Check-in at the hotel.
  • Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 2 : Bruges by water

  • Boat trip on the canals (on request).
  • Visit to the Beguinage and a walk to the Minnewater.
  • Climb of the Belfry and its 366 steps, or visit to the Groeninge Museum and its Flemish Primitives (on request).
  • Chocolate workshop or tasting (on request).
  • Group dinner in a restaurant in the centre (on request).

Day 3 : Damme

  • Drive to Damme, about ten minutes away.
  • Stroll around Damme's market square, in front of the Gothic town hall, then along the canal.
  • Return to Bruges aboard the Lamme Goedzak paddle steamer, in season (on request).
  • Arrival back in your region in the evening.

Good to know

  • Departure and return times adapted to the pick-up point chosen by your group.
  • Coaches cannot enter the historic centre of Bruges: the group is dropped off and picked up nearby.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
