Day trip to Paris during the festive season for your group: the animated shop windows of Boulevard Haussmann, a Christmas market, the Champs-Élysées illuminations and a Seine cruise on request.

During Advent, Paris puts on its festive finery. Your group admires the animated shop windows and the giant Christmas tree under the dome of the Galeries Lafayette, as well as the windows of Printemps, on Boulevard Haussmann. A Christmas market, such as the one at La Défense, one of the largest in the Île-de-France region, is the perfect place to stroll among the chalets, mulled wine in hand. At nightfall, the Champs-Élysées illuminations and a cruise on the Seine past the floodlit monuments bring the day to a beautiful close.

Programme

  • Early morning departure from the place of your choice.
  • Arrival in Paris and drop-off near Boulevard Haussmann.
  • Discovery of the animated shop windows of the Galeries Lafayette and Printemps, and the giant Christmas tree under the dome of the Galeries Lafayette.
  • Group lunch in a Parisian brasserie (on request), otherwise free lunch.
  • Free time at a Christmas market, depending on the markets set up that year (for example the one at La Défense): chalets, mulled wine and gingerbread.
  • At nightfall, panoramic coach tour of the illuminations: the Champs-Élysées, Place de la Concorde and the sparkling Eiffel Tower.
  • Guided cruise on the Seine, past the illuminated monuments (on request).
  • Departure in the early evening, after the illuminations.
  • Return to your area in the evening.

Good to know

  • Departure and return times are adapted to your group's pick-up point.
  • The opening dates of the Christmas markets vary from year to year and should be checked; weekends in December are very crowded, so we recommend coming on a weekday.
  • Bring warm clothing and comfortable shoes; the meeting point and time for the return to the coach are given to you on arrival.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
