Day trip to the Amiens Christmas market for your group: chalets in the streets of the centre, Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Saint-Leu quarter on the banks of the Somme.
The Amiens Christmas market, which stretches for nearly two kilometres of chalets through the pedestrian streets of the city centre, is one of the longest in northern France. Your group tastes mulled wine, gingerbread, Amiens macarons and ficelles picardes, before discovering Notre-Dame Cathedral, a Gothic masterpiece and UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Saint-Leu quarter, with its colourful houses along the canals, rounds off a charming day. During Advent, the cathedral façade is sometimes lit up in colour, depending on the city's programme.
