A 2-day trip to Paris during the festive season for your group: animated shop windows, the illuminated Champs-Élysées, Christmas markets, Montmartre and an illuminated cruise on request.

During Advent, Paris becomes one of the most beautiful Christmas cities in Europe. Your group admires the animated shop windows and the giant Christmas tree of the Galeries Lafayette and Printemps, strolls around the Christmas markets and discovers the illuminated Champs-Élysées. A cruise on the Seine past the floodlit monuments and a morning in Montmartre, between the Sacré-Cœur Basilica and Place du Tertre, round off this festive trip. Two days give you time to enjoy the city by day and by night, without rushing.

Programme

Day 1 : Christmas shop windows and illuminated Paris

  • Morning departure from the location of your choice.
  • Drive to Paris, with a stop along the way.
  • Arrival around midday and group lunch in a Parisian brasserie (on request), otherwise free lunch.
  • Discovery of the animated shop windows of the Galeries Lafayette and Printemps, on Boulevard Haussmann, and the giant Christmas tree under the dome of the Galeries Lafayette.
  • Free time at a Christmas market, depending on the markets set up that year: chalets, mulled wine and gingerbread.
  • Check-in at the hotel.
  • Illuminated cruise on the Seine, with or without dinner on board (on request).

Day 2 : Montmartre and the Champs-Élysées

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Guided tour of Montmartre (on request): the Sacré-Cœur Basilica, Place du Tertre and the village lanes.
  • Group lunch in a restaurant in Montmartre (on request), otherwise free lunch.
  • Free time on the Champs-Élysées and at the Christmas market at La Défense or in another district, depending on the year.
  • At nightfall, panoramic coach tour of the illuminations: the Champs-Élysées, Place de la Concorde and the sparkling Eiffel Tower.
  • Departure in the early evening.
  • Arrival back in your region in the evening.

Good to know

  • Departure and return times are adapted to your group's pick-up point.
  • The opening dates of the Paris Christmas markets vary from year to year and should be checked; weekends in December are very crowded, so we recommend travelling on a weekday.
  • Bring warm clothing and comfortable shoes; each day, the driver gives the meeting point and time for the return to the coach.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
