A 2-day trip to the Montbéliard and Colmar Christmas markets for your group: the Lumières de Noël and renowned market of Montbéliard, then Little Venice and the markets of Colmar.
In the Montbéliard area, the Lumières de Noël (Christmas Lights) transform the town, at the foot of the castle of the Dukes of Württemberg, into a sparkling setting. Its Christmas market, renowned for the quality of its craftspeople, sets up around the Temple Saint-Martin and in the streets of the centre. The next day, your group discovers Colmar, its half-timbered houses, Little Venice and its various Christmas markets. As for treats: Montbéliard sausage, Comté cheese, mulled wine, bredele biscuits and gingerbread.
Programme
Day 1 : Montbéliard and its Lumières de Noël
- Early morning departure from the location of your choice.
- Drive to Montbéliard, with regular stops along the way.
- Arrival in the afternoon.
- Guided tour of the historic centre and the castle of the Dukes of Württemberg (on request).
- Free time at the Christmas market, around the Temple Saint-Martin and in the illuminated streets.
- Group dinner featuring flavours of Franche-Comté (on request).
- Check-in at the hotel.
Day 2 : Colmar and Little Venice
- Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Colmar.
- Guided walk through the old town: the Maison des Têtes, the Koïfhus and Little Venice (on request).
- Group lunch in an Alsatian restaurant (on request), otherwise free lunch.
- Free time at the Christmas markets: Place des Dominicains, Place Jeanne-d'Arc, Place de l'Ancienne-Douane and Little Venice.
- Return journey in the mid-afternoon, with regular stops.
- Arrival back in your region in the evening.

- Departure and return times are adapted to your group's pick-up point.
- The opening dates of the Christmas markets vary from year to year and should be checked; weekends are very busy, so we recommend travelling on a weekday.
- Bring warm clothing and comfortable shoes; each day, the driver gives the meeting point and time for the return to the coach.
