A 3-day trip to the Alsace Christmas markets for your group: Strasbourg, Colmar, Obernai, Riquewihr, Kaysersberg and Eguisheim, with an Alsace wine tasting on request.
Alsace is the Christmas region par excellence. In Strasbourg, your group discovers the Christkindelsmärik, one of the oldest Christmas markets in Europe, and the giant Christmas tree on Place Kléber. Along the Wine Route, the villages of Obernai, Riquewihr, Kaysersberg and Eguisheim, with their decorated half-timbered houses, host charming small-scale markets. Colmar and its illuminated Little Venice, a tasting at a winegrower's, mulled wine, bredele biscuits and kougelhopf round off the trip.
Programme
Day 1 : Journey to Alsace and Strasbourg
- Morning departure from the location of your choice.
- Drive to Alsace, with regular stops along the way.
- Arrival in Strasbourg in the early afternoon.
- Guided tour of the Grande Île: Notre-Dame Cathedral, Place Kléber and Petite France (on request).
- Free time at the Christkindelsmärik on Place Broglie, around the cathedral and at the foot of the giant Christmas tree.
- Check-in at the hotel.
- Group dinner in a winstub (on request).
Day 2 : Obernai, Riquewihr, Kaysersberg and Colmar
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Discovery of Obernai, its market square and its ramparts.
- Along the Wine Route to Riquewihr and its Christmas market in the medieval lanes.
- Group lunch in an Alsatian restaurant (on request), otherwise free lunch.
- Stop in Kaysersberg, birthplace of Albert Schweitzer, and its Christmas market at the foot of the castle.
- Alsace wine tasting at a winegrower's (on request).
- Free evening in Colmar: illuminated Little Venice and Christmas markets.
Day 3 : Eguisheim and return
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Stroll through Eguisheim, a circular village with concentric lanes, and its Christmas market.
- Return journey in the late morning, with regular stops.
- Arrival back in your region in the evening.

- Departure and return times are adapted to your group's pick-up point.
- The opening dates of the Christmas markets vary from year to year and should be checked; some village markets are only open at weekends, whereas the big cities are quieter on weekdays.
- Bring warm clothing and comfortable shoes; each day, the driver gives the meeting point and time for the return to the coach.
