Day trip to the Reims Christmas market for your group: chalets at the foot of the coronation cathedral and a visit to a champagne cellar on request.
During Advent, the Reims Christmas market sets up at the foot of Notre-Dame Cathedral, where the kings of France were crowned. Your group wanders among the chalets and tastes mulled wine, gingerbread and the famous pink biscuits of Reims. The day can be rounded off with a visit to a champagne house and its crayères, cellars dug into the chalk, with a tasting. At nightfall, the illuminated cathedral and market make an unforgettable setting.
Programme
- Morning departure from the place of your choice.
- Arrival in Reims.
- Guided tour of Notre-Dame Cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site (on request), otherwise a visit at your own pace.
- Group lunch in a restaurant in the centre (on request), otherwise free lunch.
- Visit to a champagne cellar with tasting (on request).
- Free time at the Christmas market, on the square in front of and around the cathedral: chalets, mulled wine, gingerbread and pink biscuits.
- Departure in the late afternoon or early evening, after enjoying the illuminations.
- Return to your area in the evening.

- The opening dates of the Christmas market vary from year to year and should be checked; weekends are very busy, so we recommend coming on a weekday.
- Bring warm clothing (it is cool in the crayères) and comfortable shoes; the meeting point and time for the return to the coach are given to you on arrival.
