A 4-day city trip to The Hague, Delft and Rotterdam for your group: the Mauritshuis, the Binnenhof and Scheveningen, Delft Blue pottery, the Markthal and the Cube Houses, the windmills of Kinderdijk.
Seat of the Dutch government and parliament, The Hague is home to the Binnenhof and the Mauritshuis, where Vermeer's Girl with a Pearl Earring can be admired, while the seaside resort of Scheveningen lies on the North Sea. Between the two big cities, Delft has kept its canals, its Markt and its famous blue earthenware. Rotterdam, rebuilt after 1940, surprises with its bold architecture and one of the largest ports in the world. Not far away, the nineteen windmills of Kinderdijk are a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Programme
Day 1 : Journey to The Hague
- Morning departure from the location of your choice.
- Drive to South Holland, with breaks along the way.
- Arrival in The Hague in the early afternoon and a walk around the Binnenhof and the Hofvijver lake.
- Visit to the Mauritshuis and its paintings by Vermeer and Rembrandt (on request).
- Check-in at the hotel.
- Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).
Day 2 : The Hague and Scheveningen
- Guided tour of The Hague: the Peace Palace, Lange Voorhout and the royal quarters (on request).
- Visit to Madurodam, the Netherlands in miniature (on request).
- In the afternoon, a walk on the beach and the pier at Scheveningen.
- Seafood group dinner in Scheveningen (on request).
Day 3 : Delft and Rotterdam
- Drive to Delft, about twenty minutes away.
- Stroll around the Markt, between the town hall and the New Church, where members of the royal family are laid to rest.
- Visit to the Royal Delft factory and its earthenware painting workshops (on request).
- In the afternoon, drive to Rotterdam and discovery of the Markthal, the Cube Houses and the Erasmus Bridge.
- Guided cruise around the port of Rotterdam (on request).
- Group dinner in a restaurant in Rotterdam (on request).
Day 4 : Kinderdijk
- Drive to Kinderdijk, half an hour from Rotterdam.
- Walk along the canals lined with nineteen 18th-century windmills.
- Visit inside an inhabited windmill and a boat trip (on request).
- Return journey in the early afternoon.
- Arrival back in your region in the evening.

- Departure and return times adapted to the pick-up point chosen by your group.
- The Binnenhof is under renovation for several years: it can be seen from the outside, from the banks of the Hofvijver.
- Bring a windproof jacket for the walk in Scheveningen and the visit to Kinderdijk, which are often exposed to the wind.
