2-day city trip to Kortrijk and Oudenaarde for your group: Broel Towers, beguinage, Battle of the Golden Spurs and Tour of Flanders.

On the banks of the Lys, Kortrijk has kept its Broel Towers, its peaceful beguinage and the Church of Our Lady, linked to the Battle of the Golden Spurs in 1302. Your group relives this founding episode of Flemish history at the Kortrijk 1302 museum. In Oudenaarde, beneath a remarkable Gothic town hall, the Tour of Flanders Centre tells the story of the great cycle race that climbs the hills of the Flemish Ardennes.

Programme

Day 1: Kortrijk on the Lys

  • Morning departure from the location of your choice.
  • Drive to West Flanders, arriving in Kortrijk around midday.
  • Guided tour: Broel Towers, Grote Markt, beguinage and Church of Our Lady (on request).
  • Visit to the Kortrijk 1302 museum, devoted to the Battle of the Golden Spurs (on request).
  • Check-in at the hotel.
  • Dinner at the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 2: Oudenaarde and the Flemish Ardennes

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Drive to Oudenaarde, half an hour away.
  • Visit to the Tour of Flanders Centre (on request).
  • Stroll on the Markt, in front of the Gothic town hall.
  • Coach tour over the hills of the Flemish Ardennes, the Oude Kwaremont and the Paterberg.
  • Return journey in early afternoon.
  • Arrival back in your area in the evening.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
