The Belgian coast for groups: Ostend, the Coast Tram and the horseback shrimp fishers

Day 1 : Journey to Ostend

• Morning departure from the location of your choice.
• Drive to the coast and arrival in Ostend in the late morning.
• Walk along the promenade, from the Royal Galleries to the pier.
• Visit to the three-masted Mercator, a former training ship moored in the city centre (on request).
• Check-in at the hotel in Ostend.
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 2 : The Coast Tram, De Haan and Knokke

• Coast Tram ride from Ostend to De Haan (on request).
• Stroll among the Belle Époque villas of the Concessie district in De Haan.
• In the afternoon, discovery of Knokke-Heist and visit to the Zwin nature park (on request).
• Return to the hotel by coach.
• Group dinner in a fish restaurant (on request).

Day 3 : Oostduinkerke and Nieuwpoort

• Drive to Oostduinkerke (Koksijde) and a demonstration of horseback shrimp fishing, depending on the tides and the season (on request).
• Visit to NAVIGO, the national fishing museum (on request).
• In the afternoon, discovery of Nieuwpoort, its marina and the King Albert I Monument.
• Visit to the Westfront Nieuwpoort visitor centre, devoted to the 1914 Yser floods (on request).
• Return to the hotel.

Day 4 : Ostend and return

• Free morning in Ostend, at the quayside fish market (Vistrap).
• Visit to Fort Napoleon or the Mu.ZEE art museum (on request).
• Shrimp croquette tasting (on request).
• Arrival back in your region in the evening.
