A 3-day city trip through the Ardennes for your group: Durbuy, La Roche-en-Ardenne, Bouillon Castle and the Semois.

In the heart of the Belgian Ardennes, Durbuy charms with its cobbled lanes, stone houses and topiary park of clipped box. La Roche-en-Ardenne, nestled in a bend of the Ourthe beneath the ruins of its feudal castle, also preserves the memory of the Battle of the Bulge. In Bouillon, Godfrey of Bouillon's fortified castle towers above the Semois, and its rock-hewn halls plunge the group into the heart of the Middle Ages.

Programme

Day 1 : Durbuy and La Roche

  • Morning departure from the location of your choice.
  • Drive to the Ardennes and arrival in Durbuy in the late morning.
  • Stroll through the cobbled lanes of the little town.
  • Visit to the Topiary Park (on request).
  • Drive to La Roche-en-Ardenne and check-in at the hotel.
  • Ardennes dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 2 : La Roche and the Ourthe valley

  • Guided tour of La Roche-en-Ardenne and climb up to the castle ruins (on request).
  • Visit to the Battle of the Bulge museum (on request).
  • Free time for a walk along the Ourthe.
  • Tasting of local Ardennes produce, ham and cured meats (on request).

Day 3 : Bouillon

  • Drive to Bouillon, just over an hour away.
  • Visit to Bouillon Castle and its birds of prey show, depending on the season (on request).
  • Walk along the Semois.
  • Arrival back in your region in the evening.

Good to know

  • Departure and return times adapted to the pick-up point chosen by your group.
  • The Ardennes roads are winding: let us know of any travellers prone to motion sickness so they can sit at the front of the coach.
  • Bouillon Castle and the ruins at La Roche have stairs and uneven ground, so walking shoes are recommended.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
