A 4-day city trip to Luxembourg for your group: the rocks of the Mullerthal, Echternach, a cruise on the Moselle, crémant cellars and Schengen.
Nicknamed Luxembourg's Little Switzerland, the Mullerthal region lines up sandstone rocks, narrow gorges and woodland streams. Your group discovers Echternach, the oldest town in the country, with its Basilica of St Willibrord. To the east, the Luxembourg Moselle unfolds its vine-covered slopes, its crémant cellars and Schengen, the village that gave its name to the European agreements.
Programme
Day 1 : Journey to Echternach
- Morning departure from the location of your choice.
- Drive to the Grand Duchy and arrival in Echternach in the early afternoon.
- Discovery of the Market Square and the Basilica of St Willibrord.
- Guided tour of the town and the abbey (on request).
- Check-in at the hotel.
- Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).
Day 2 : The Mullerthal
- Guided walk along a section of the Mullerthal Trail, among the sandstone rocks (on request).
- Discovery of the Wolf's Gorge and the Hohllay site in Berdorf.
- Stop at the Schiessentümpel waterfall.
- Visit to the castles of Beaufort (on request).
- Group dinner featuring Luxembourg specialities (on request).
Day 3 : The Luxembourg Moselle
- Drive to the Moselle and discovery of Grevenmacher.
- Visit to crémant cellars with tasting (on request).
- Cruise on the Moselle (on request).
- Stroll along the esplanade in Remich.
- Return to the hotel at the end of the day.
Day 4 : Schengen
- Drive to Schengen, where three borders meet.
- Visit to the European Museum Schengen (on request).
- Walk along the Moselle, in front of the monument to the agreements.
- Arrival back in your region in the evening.
