A 3-day city trip to Luxembourg for your group: the Bock Casemates, the Chemin de la Corniche, the Grund and Vianden Castle.

Perched on cliffs above the Alzette and the Pétrusse, Luxembourg's old town and its former fortifications are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Your group walks the Chemin de la Corniche, nicknamed the most beautiful balcony in Europe, then descends into the Grund quarter. In the Luxembourg Ardennes, Vianden Castle overlooks the Our valley and the little town where Victor Hugo once stayed.

Programme

Day 1 : Journey to Luxembourg

  • Morning departure from the location of your choice.
  • Drive to the Grand Duchy and arrival in Luxembourg City in the late morning.
  • A first walk: Place d'Armes, the Grand Ducal Palace and Notre-Dame Cathedral.
  • Guided tour of the old town (on request).
  • Check-in at the hotel.
  • Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 2 : Fortifications and the Grund

  • Visit to the Bock Casemates, galleries carved into the rock, depending on the season (on request).
  • Walk along the Chemin de la Corniche and down into the Grund.
  • City tour by little tourist train (on request).
  • Group dinner featuring Luxembourg specialities (on request).

Day 3 : Vianden

  • Drive to Vianden, about an hour away.
  • Visit to Vianden Castle (on request).
  • Stroll through the little town and past Victor Hugo's house.
  • Arrival back in your region in the evening.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
