Day trip to Zeeland for your group: the Delta Works at Neeltje Jans, Middelburg, the harbour of Veere and Zeeland mussels.
Zeeland lives to the rhythm of the sea. At Neeltje Jans, the Deltapark presents the Delta Works, the great structures that protect the region from storms, including the impressive Eastern Scheldt storm surge barrier. Middelburg, the capital, charms with its abbey and Gothic town hall, and Veere with its little harbour and old houses. For food lovers, a lunch of Zeeland mussels is a must.
Programme
- Morning departure from the place of your choice.
- Arrival at Neeltje Jans at around 10.00 am.
- Visit to the Deltapark and the Eastern Scheldt barrier.
- Lunch of Zeeland mussels, for example in Yerseke (on request).
- Visit to Middelburg: the abbey, the Lange Jan tower and the town hall (with a guide on request).
- Drive to Veere: stroll around the harbour and the old town.
- Departure from Veere at around 5.30 pm and return to your area in the evening.
