Day 1 : Journey to Eisenach and the Wartburg

• Morning departure from the location of your choice.
• Drive to Thuringia, with regular stops along the way.
• Arrival in Eisenach in the early afternoon.
• Guided tour of Wartburg Castle (on request).
• Drive to Weimar and check-in at the hotel.
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 2 : Weimar, Goethe's town

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Guided walking tour of Weimar: Theatre Square and the Goethe and Schiller monument, Market Square, the palace (on request).
• Visit to Goethe's house or Schiller's house (on request).
• Visit to the Bauhaus Museum (on request).
• Walk through the Park on the Ilm to Goethe's Garden House.
• Group dinner in a Thuringian restaurant (on request).

Day 3 : Erfurt

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Erfurt, about thirty minutes away.
• Guided tour of the old town: Cathedral Square, St Mary's Cathedral and the Church of St Severus, the Merchants' Bridge (on request).
• Visit to the Augustinian Monastery, where Luther lived (on request).
• Free time, then return to Weimar in the late afternoon.
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 4 : Buchenwald or Weimar, and return

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Visit to the Buchenwald Memorial, on the heights above Weimar, with a guided tour (on request).
• Or free time in Weimar.
• Return journey around midday.
• Arrival back in your region in the evening.
