Périgord Noir for groups: Sarlat, Lascaux IV and Rocamadour

Day 1 : Journey to the Périgord

• Early morning departure from the location of your choice.
• Drive to the Périgord, with regular stops along the way.
• Arrival in Sarlat in the late afternoon.
• Check-in at the hotel.
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 2 : Sarlat and Lascaux IV

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Guided tour of the medieval town of Sarlat: St Sacerdos Cathedral, the Lantern of the Dead and La Boétie's house (on request).
• Free time at the Sarlat market, on Saturday or Wednesday morning.
• Lunch of Périgord specialities (on request).
• Drive to Montignac and visit to Lascaux IV, the International Centre for Cave Art.
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 3 : The Dordogne Valley

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Walk in La Roque-Gageac, a village nestled against the cliff.
• Gabarre boat trip on the Dordogne (on request).
• Visit to Beynac Castle, perched above the river (on request).
• Climb up to Domme, a bastide town with a panoramic view over the valley.
• Group dinner in a farm inn (on request).

Day 4 : Rocamadour

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Rocamadour and discovery of the town and its sanctuaries clinging to the cliff.
• Ascent by lift or via the Stations of the Cross up to the castle.
• Lunch in a restaurant (on request).
• Visit to a farm and tasting of foie gras (on request).
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 5 : Return

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Return journey early in the morning, with regular stops along the way.
• Arrival back in your region in the evening.
