Day 1 : Journey to Nuremberg

• Morning departure from the location of your choice.
• Drive to Bavaria, with regular stops along the way.
• Arrival in Nuremberg in the afternoon and a first walk on the Main Market Square, past the Beautiful Fountain and the Church of Our Lady.
• Check-in at the hotel in Nuremberg.

Day 2 : Nuremberg

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Guided walking tour of the old town (on request).
• Climb up to the Imperial Castle and a view over the town's rooftops.
• Visit to the Albrecht Dürer House (on request).
• Visit to the Documentation Centre Nazi Party Rally Grounds (on request).
• Group dinner featuring Nuremberg's small grilled sausages (on request).

Day 3 : Regensburg

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Regensburg, about an hour away.
• Guided walking tour of the old town (on request).
• Crossing of the 12th-century Stone Bridge and visit to St Peter's Cathedral.
• Lunch at the Historische Wurstkuchl, one of the oldest sausage kitchens in Germany (on request).
• Check-in at the hotel in Regensburg.
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 4 : Passau, the City of Three Rivers

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Passau.
• Visit to St Stephen's Cathedral and its organ, one of the largest in the world.
• Organ concert in the cathedral, in season (on request).
• Walk to the tip of the confluence of the Danube, the Inn and the Ilz.
• Three-rivers cruise (on request).
• Return to Regensburg at the end of the day.

Day 5 : The Weltenburg Narrows and return

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Kelheim.
• Cruise through the Danube Gorge to Weltenburg Abbey, in season (on request).
• Discovery of the Benedictine abbey of Weltenburg and its monastery brewery.
• Return journey in the late morning, with regular stops.
• Arrival back in your region in the evening.
