A 3-day city trip to Rouen, Honfleur and Étretat for your group: cathedral, Gros-Horloge, the Vieux-Bassin and the Alabaster Coast cliffs.

Rouen, a city of half-timbered houses, is home to the cathedral that Claude Monet painted in series and to the Place du Vieux-Marché, where Joan of Arc was burned in 1431. On the Alabaster Coast, the cliffs of Étretat, with their arches and their Needle, have inspired writers and painters. Across the Seine estuary, Honfleur charms with its Vieux-Bassin lined with tall houses and its wooden Church of St Catherine.

Programme

Day 1 : Journey to Rouen

  • Morning departure from the location of your choice.
  • Arrival in Rouen in the early afternoon.
  • Discovery of the centre: Notre-Dame Cathedral, Rue du Gros-Horloge and Place du Vieux-Marché.
  • Guided walking tour of old Rouen (on request).
  • Check-in at the hotel.
  • Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 2 : Étretat and Honfleur

  • Drive to the Alabaster Coast after breakfast.
  • Walk in Étretat, facing the Falaise d'Aval, its arch and the Needle.
  • Lunch of Normandy specialities (on request).
  • Crossing of the Pont de Normandie and a stroll in Honfleur around the Vieux-Bassin and the Church of St Catherine.
  • Cider and calvados tasting on a farm in the Pays d'Auge, for adults (on request).
  • Return to Rouen at the end of the day.

Day 3 : Rouen and the journey home

  • Visit to Rouen's Museum of Fine Arts and its Impressionist paintings (on request).
  • Free time in the pedestrian streets.
  • Return journey in the early afternoon.
  • Arrival back in your region in the evening.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
