Day 1 : Journey to Lucerne

• Early morning departure from the location of your choice.
• Drive through Luxembourg, Alsace and Basel, with regular breaks.
• Arrival in Lucerne in the late afternoon and a stroll along the lakeside.
• Check-in at the hotel.
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 2 : The Gotthard and Bologna

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive through the St Gotthard Tunnel, Milan and the Po Valley.
• Arrival in Bologna in the mid-afternoon and a stroll around Piazza Maggiore, under the arcades and at the foot of the Two Towers.
• Check-in at the hotel.
• Dinner of Bolognese specialities in a trattoria (on request).

Day 3 : Journey to Campania

• Drive through the Apennines, Tuscany and Lazio.
• Arrival on the Sorrento Peninsula in the late afternoon and check-in at the hotel for five nights.
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 4 : Naples

• Drive to Naples.
• Guided tour of the historic centre: Spaccanapoli, the cathedral and the cloister of Santa Chiara (on request).
• Visit to the Sansevero Chapel and its Veiled Christ (on request).
• Visit to the National Archaeological Museum (on request).
• Neapolitan pizza tasting (on request).

Day 5 : Pompeii and Vesuvius

• Guided tour of the ruins of Pompeii: forum, baths, villas and paved streets (on request).
• Shuttle ride up to the Vesuvius car park, then the path to the crater (on request).
• Tasting of Vesuvius wines, Lacryma Christi (on request).
• Return to the hotel in the late afternoon.

Day 6 : Capri

• Boat crossing from Sorrento to Capri (on request).
• Funicular ride up to the Piazzetta of Capri.
• Walk to the Gardens of Augustus and view of the Faraglioni.
• Boat trip around the island and the Blue Grotto, depending on sea conditions (on request).
• If there is no crossing, a free day in Sorrento.

Day 7 : The Amalfi Coast

• Boat excursion from Sorrento or Salerno to Positano and Amalfi (on request).
• Stroll through Positano and its stepped lanes.
• Visit to Amalfi's Cathedral of St Andrew.
• Minibus ride up to Ravello and visit to Villa Rufolo (on request).
• Farewell dinner in Sorrento (on request).

Day 8 : Journey to Florence

• Departure from Campania and drive to Tuscany.
• Arrival in Florence in the mid-afternoon.
• Walk from the Duomo to the Ponte Vecchio via Piazza della Signoria.
• Check-in at the hotel.
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 9 : Journey to Switzerland

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Climb up to Piazzale Michelangelo for a last panorama of Florence.
• Drive via Bologna, Milan and the St Gotthard.
• Arrival in the Lucerne area in the evening and check-in at the hotel.
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 10 : Lucerne and return

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Short walk across the Chapel Bridge.
• Return journey via Basel and Alsace, with regular breaks.
• Arrival back in your region in the evening.
