A 3-day city trip to Nancy and Metz for your group: Place Stanislas, Art Nouveau, St Stephen's Cathedral and the Centre Pompidou-Metz.

In Metz, St Stephen's Cathedral, nicknamed 'the Good Lord's lantern', brings together stained glass from several centuries, including windows by Marc Chagall. Nancy is centred on Place Stanislas, an 18th-century ensemble listed by UNESCO together with Place de la Carrière and its gilded gates. The city was also the birthplace of the École de Nancy, whose leading Art Nouveau figures were Émile Gallé and Louis Majorelle.

Day 1 : Metz and arrival in Nancy

  • Morning departure from the location of your choice.
  • Arrival in Metz around midday.
  • Discovery of St Stephen's Cathedral and its stained glass.
  • Guided walking tour of the historic centre of Metz (on request).
  • Drive to Nancy and check-in at the hotel.
  • Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 2 : Nancy, from Stanislas to Art Nouveau

  • Place Stanislas, the Arc Héré, Place de la Carrière and the Pépinière park.
  • Guided tour of the ducal town and Place Stanislas (on request).
  • Group lunch in a restaurant (on request).
  • Visit to the Musée de l'École de Nancy, devoted to Art Nouveau (on request).
  • Free time to taste Nancy's macarons and bergamot sweets.

Day 3 : Centre Pompidou-Metz and the journey home

  • Drive to Metz after breakfast.
  • Visit to the Centre Pompidou-Metz and its exhibitions (on request).
  • Lunch at leisure, then the return journey.
  • Arrival back in your region in the evening.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
