A 3-day stay on the Opal Coast for your group: Boulogne-sur-Mer and Nausicaá, Cap Blanc-Nez and Cap Gris-Nez, Wimereux and its beaches.

Between Calais and Boulogne-sur-Mer, the Opal Coast lines up cliffs, dunes and long beaches facing the English coast. Your group discovers the fortified town of Boulogne-sur-Mer and Nausicaá, the French national sea centre, then Cap Blanc-Nez and Cap Gris-Nez, awarded the Grand Site de France label. Wimereux, a seaside resort with colourful villas, serves as a home base for enjoying the beach and the promenade.

Programme

Day 1 : Boulogne-sur-Mer and Nausicaá

  • Morning departure from the location of your choice.
  • Drive to the Opal Coast, with a stop along the way.
  • Arrival in Boulogne-sur-Mer and a walk along the ramparts of the upper town, around the belfry and the Basilica of Notre-Dame.
  • Visit to Nausicaá, the French national sea centre (on request).
  • Check-in at a 3-star hotel near the beach, in the Wimereux area.
  • Dinner at the hotel (half board, full board on request).

Day 2 : Cap Blanc-Nez and Cap Gris-Nez

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Coastal road to Cap Gris-Nez, from where the white cliffs of Dover can be seen in fine weather.
  • Stop in Wissant, with its long beach and its dunes.
  • Climb up Cap Blanc-Nez and view over the bay of Wissant.
  • Guided hike on the capes trail with a nature guide (on request).
  • Return to Wimereux and free time on the beach.
  • Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 : Wimereux and return

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Walk along the promenade of Wimereux, lined with Belle Époque villas.
  • Free time on the beach.
  • Return journey in the early afternoon.
  • Arrival back in your region in the evening.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
