French Riviera for groups: Nice, Monaco, Èze, Menton, Cannes and Antibes (8 days)

Day 1 : Journey to the Lyon area

• Early morning departure from the location of your choice.
• Through Luxembourg and Lorraine, then on to Burgundy, with regular stops.
• Arrival in the late afternoon and check-in at the stopover hotel in the Lyon area.
• Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2 : Journey to Nice

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive through the Rhône valley and Provence to the French Riviera, with regular stops.
• Arrival in the afternoon and check-in for five nights at a 3-star hotel near the beach in Nice.
• A first walk along the Promenade des Anglais.
• Dinner at the hotel (half board, full board on request).

Day 3 : Nice on foot

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Guided walking tour of Old Nice: the Cours Saleya and its flower market, Sainte-Réparate Cathedral (on request).
• Climb up Castle Hill for the view over the Baie des Anges.
• Free afternoon on the beach; rest day for the driver.
• Dinner at the hotel.

Day 4 : Monaco, Èze and Menton

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive along the Moyenne Corniche to the hilltop village of Èze and visit to a perfumery.
• Discovery of the Rock of Monaco: the Prince's Palace, the changing of the guard and the cathedral.
• Visit to the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco (on request).
• Afternoon in Menton: the colourful old town, the seafront and the gardens.
• Return to Nice and dinner at the hotel.

Day 5 : Free day in Nice

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Free day on the beach, on the Promenade des Anglais or in the shopping streets.
• Boat cruise along the Riviera (on request).
• Dinner at the hotel.

Day 6 : Cannes and Antibes

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Cannes and a walk along the Croisette, in front of the Palais des Festivals.
• Climb up to Le Suquet, the old town, for the view over the bay.
• In the afternoon, Antibes: the ramparts, Port Vauban and the Provençal market.
• Visit to the Picasso Museum in Antibes, in the Château Grimaldi (on request).
• Return to Nice and farewell dinner at the hotel.

Day 7 : Journey to the Lyon area

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive north through Provence and the Rhône valley, with regular stops.
• Arrival in the late afternoon and check-in at the stopover hotel in the Lyon area.
• Dinner at the hotel.

Day 8 : Return

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Return journey to Belgium, with regular stops.
• Arrival back in your region in the evening.
