A 3-day stay on the Belgian coast for your group: the Coast Tram from De Panne to Knokke, Ostend, Nieuwpoort, De Haan and free time on the beach.

The Coast Tram links De Panne to Knokke over 67 kilometres: it is the finest way to discover the whole Belgian coastline. Your group stays in Ostend or Blankenberge, near the beach, and travels from one resort to the next, stop by stop. Ostend and its royal promenade, Nieuwpoort and its marina, De Haan and its Belle Époque villas set the pace of this stay, in which free time by the sea keeps a large place.

Programme

Day 1 : Journey to Ostend

  • Morning departure from the location of your choice.
  • Arrival in Ostend and a walk along the promenade to the Royal Galleries.
  • Visit to the Mercator three-master, a former training ship moored in the heart of the city (on request).
  • Check-in at a 3-star hotel near the beach, in Ostend or Blankenberge.
  • Dinner at the hotel (half board, full board on request).

Day 2 : The Coast Tram, from De Panne to Nieuwpoort

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Coach transfer to De Panne, the western terminus of the Coast Tram.
  • Tram ride along the coast and stop in Nieuwpoort: the marina and the King Albert I Monument.
  • Guided tour of Nieuwpoort and the Westfront site, dedicated to the First World War (on request).
  • Free time on the beach, then return by tram to your hotel.
  • Dinner at the hotel.

Day 3 : De Haan, Knokke and return

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Tram ride to De Haan and a walk among the Belle Époque villas.
  • Continuation by tram to Knokke, the eastern terminus of the line, and free time on the promenade.
  • The coach meets the group in Knokke in the early afternoon.
  • Arrival back in your region in the evening.

Good to know

  • Departure and return times are adapted to your group's pick-up point.
  • Bring swimwear, a towel, sun cream, a windbreaker and comfortable shoes: the tram stops are reached on foot.
  • A valid identity card is required; group leaders remain responsible for minors on the tram and during free time.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
