Day trip to Mechelen for your group: the historic centre, St Rumbold’s Tower, the Het Anker brewery and a chocolate workshop.
Once the capital of the Burgundian Netherlands, Mechelen is a city of art on a human scale. The Grote Markt, St Rumbold’s Cathedral and its UNESCO-listed tower, the quays of the Dijle and the palace of Margaret of Austria are easy to explore on foot. In the heart of the great béguinage, the Het Anker brewery, home of Gouden Carolus, opens its doors to your group for a tour and a tasting. A chocolate workshop rounds off this gourmet day.

- Morning departure from the place of your choice.
- Arrival in Mechelen at around 10.00 am.
- Guided walk through the historic centre: the Grote Markt, St Rumbold’s Cathedral, the quays of the Dijle (on request).
- Climb up St Rumbold’s Tower and panoramic view (on request).
- Free lunch or reserved group lunch (on request).
- Tour of the Het Anker brewery and Gouden Carolus tasting.
- Chocolate workshop with tasting (on request).
- Departure from Mechelen at around 5.30 pm and return to your area in the evening.
