Day trip to Ghent for your group: the Gravensteen castle, the Ghent Altarpiece, a boat trip and the lively quays.
Ghent blends medieval heritage with a student atmosphere. The Gravensteen castle, St Bavo’s Cathedral and its famous Ghent Altarpiece (the Adoration of the Mystic Lamb), the Graslei and Korenlei quays and the view of the three towers from St Michael’s Bridge make for a rich and varied day. The programme is adapted to your group: guided walk, boat trip, reserved lunch or tasting.
Programme
- Morning departure from the place of your choice.
- Arrival in Ghent at around 10.00 am.
- Guided walk through the historic centre: St Michael’s Bridge, Graslei, belfry (on request).
- Visit to St Bavo’s Cathedral and the Ghent Altarpiece (on request).
- Free lunch or reserved group lunch (on request).
- Boat trip on the River Lys (about 40 minutes).
- Visit to the Gravensteen castle or free time.
- Departure from Ghent at around 5.30 pm and return to your area in the evening.
