Day trip to Dutch Limburg for your group: Maastricht’s old town, a cruise on the Meuse and the Valkenburg caves.
Just across the Belgian border, Maastricht charms with its lively squares, the Vrijthof, the Basilica of Our Lady and the bookshop set in a Gothic church. A cruise on the Meuse leads to the caves of Mount Saint Peter. In the afternoon, Valkenburg and its marlstone caves complete an easy day with little driving.
Programme
- Morning departure from the place of your choice.
- Arrival in Maastricht at around 10.00 am.
- Guided walk through the old town (on request).
- Cruise on the Meuse (about 1 hour).
- Free lunch or reserved group lunch (on request).
- Drive to Valkenburg: guided tour of the Municipal Cave or the castle (on request).
- Free time on the Grotestraat in Valkenburg.
- Departure at around 5.30 pm and return to your area in the evening.
