Day trip to Liège for your group: the Montagne de Bueren, the Coteaux, the Museum of Walloon Life, Guillemins station and péket.
Liège, the “Fiery City”, is best discovered on foot and with a good appetite. The Coteaux de la Citadelle and the Montagne de Bueren, with its 374 steps, offer a unique view over the city. The Museum of Walloon Life tells the story of everyday life in days gone by, Tchantchès included. The Carré and the lively centre lead to Guillemins station, a masterpiece by Santiago Calatrava. For a local touch: Liège-style meatballs and a péket tasting.
Programme
- Morning departure from the place of your choice.
- Arrival in Liège at around 10.00 am.
- Guided walk: the Prince-Bishops’ Palace, the Perron, the Montagne de Bueren and the Coteaux de la Citadelle (on request).
- Visit to the Museum of Walloon Life.
- Reserved group lunch of Liège-style meatballs (on request).
- Stroll through the Carré and the shopping centre.
- Péket tasting in a traditional café (on request).
- Visit to Guillemins station.
- Departure from Liège at around 5.30 pm and return to your area in the evening.
