A 3-day city trip to Leipzig for your group: Bach's St Thomas Church, covered arcades and the Monument to the Battle of the Nations.
A city of trade fairs and music, Leipzig saw Johann Sebastian Bach direct the choir of St Thomas Church for almost thirty years. It was also around St Nicholas Church that the Monday demonstrations took shape in 1989, helping to bring down the Wall. Your group discovers its covered shopping arcades, Auerbach's Cellar, immortalised by Goethe in Faust, and the imposing Monument to the Battle of the Nations.
