2-day city trip to Le Touquet for your group: beach, villas in the forest, Étaples harbour and the ramparts of Montreuil.
Le Touquet-Paris-Plage stretches between the sea and the pine forest, with its Anglo-Norman villas, covered market and long sandy beach. The neighbouring port of Étaples lives to the rhythm of fishing, brought vividly to life at the Maréis centre. The next day, Montreuil-sur-Mer, perched on its ramparts, inspired Victor Hugo to write part of Les Misérables. A breath of fresh air on the Opal Coast, about 3 hours’ drive from Brussels.
Programme
Day 1: Le Touquet and Étaples
- Morning departure from the location of your choice.
- Drive to the Opal Coast, arriving around midday.
- Guided walk around Le Touquet: villas, covered market and seafront (on request).
- Visit to Maréis, the sea-fishing discovery centre in Étaples (on request).
- Check-in at the hotel.
- Fish and seafood dinner at a restaurant (on request).
Day 2: Montreuil-sur-Mer
- Breakfast at the hotel.
- Walk around the ramparts and visit to the citadel of Montreuil-sur-Mer (on request).
- Free time in the cobbled lanes and on the square.
- Lunch at your own expense or at a restaurant (on request).
- Return journey in early afternoon.
- Arrival back in your area in the evening.
