2-day city trip to Lac du Der for your group: lakeshore, migrating birds, a village museum and half-timbered churches.
Lac du Der-Chantecoq, one of the largest artificial lakes in France, is a major stopover for common cranes in spring and autumn. On its shores, the Village-Musée du Der brings together half-timbered Champagne buildings rebuilt stone by stone. The Champagne Humide area also has many half-timbered churches, often adorned with fine stained glass. In Montier-en-Der, the national stud farm presents its horses and stables.
