Lake Constance for groups: Mainau Island, Meersburg and Lindau

Day 1 : Journey to Konstanz

• Early morning departure from the location of your choice.
• Drive to southern Germany, with regular stops along the way.
• Arrival in the late afternoon and a first walk around the harbour of Konstanz, past the Imperia statue.
• Check-in at the hotel.
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 2 : Konstanz and Mainau Island

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Guided walking tour of the old town of Konstanz: the cathedral, the Council Building, the lanes of the Niederburg (on request).
• In the afternoon, visit to Mainau Island, its gardens, its butterfly house and its palace (on request).
• Group dinner in a lakeside restaurant (on request).

Day 3 : Lindau, a cruise and Meersburg

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Drive to Lindau and a walk on the island, from the harbour to the painted Old Town Hall.
• Cruise on the lake from Lindau to Meersburg; the coach meets the group on arrival (on request).
• Walk through Meersburg, between the upper and lower towns.
• Visit to Meersburg's Old Castle (on request).
• Return to Konstanz in the late afternoon by the ferry across the lake.
• Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 4 : Return

• Breakfast at the hotel.
• Return journey in the morning, with regular stops.
• Possible stop at the Rhine Falls, in Schaffhausen, just across the Swiss border (on request).
• Arrival back in your region in the evening.
