2-day city trip to Frankfurt and Wiesbaden for your group: Römerberg, Main Tower views, a cider evening and a spa town.

Frankfurt combines the half-timbered houses of the Römerberg with the skyscrapers of the financial district, best admired from the Main Tower viewing platform. In the evening, your group crosses the Main for an evening in a Sachsenhausen cider tavern, a local tradition. The next day, Wiesbaden, an elegant spa town, unveils its Kurhaus, the Kochbrunnen hot spring and the Neroberg funicular.

Programme

Day 1: Frankfurt, old town and skyscrapers

  • Morning departure from the location of your choice.
  • Drive to Frankfurt, arriving around midday.
  • Foodie break at the Kleinmarkthalle, the city-centre fresh produce market hall.
  • Guided walking tour of the Römerberg, the New Old Town and St Paul’s Church (on request).
  • Trip up to the Main Tower observation platform (on request).
  • Check-in at the hotel.
  • Group dinner in an Apfelwein cider tavern in Sachsenhausen, with Hessian specialities (on request).

Day 2: Wiesbaden, spa town

  • Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Wiesbaden.
  • Guided tour of the spa quarter: Kurhaus, colonnades, the Kochbrunnen hot spring and the City Palace (on request).
  • Ride up the Neroberg on the water-powered funicular and view over the city, near the Russian Orthodox Church (on request).
  • Free time in the city-centre shopping streets.
  • Return journey in mid-afternoon.
  • Arrival back in your area in the evening.

Good to know

  • Departure and return times are adapted to your group’s pick-up point.
  • A valid identity card is mandatory for each participant.
  • The Neroberg funicular mainly runs in the warmer months, and the Main Tower may close in bad weather: we adapt the itinerary accordingly.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
