Day 1 : Journey to the Loire Valley

Day 2 : To the Basque Country

• Drive via Poitiers, Bordeaux and the Landes forest.
• Arrival in San Sebastián in the late afternoon.

Day 3 : Burgos and Salamanca

• Drive to Castile.
• Stop in Burgos and visit to the Gothic Cathedral of St. Mary.

Day 4 : From Salamanca to Porto

Day 5 : Porto, Coimbra and Lisbon

• Discovery of Porto: São Bento station and its azulejos, the cathedral, the Dom Luís I Bridge.
• Visit to a port wine cellar in Vila Nova de Gaia, with tasting (on request).
• Drive to Coimbra and a walk in the upper town, around the old university.
• Arrival in Lisbon in the early evening.

Day 6 : Lisbon and Belém

• Guided tour of Lisbon: the Baixa, Commerce Square, the Alfama and viewpoints (on request).

• Free afternoon in the centre of Lisbon.

Day 7 : The Algarve and journey to Seville

• Drive to southern Portugal.
• Stop in Lagos and discovery of the cliffs and caves of Ponta da Piedade.

• Drive to Andalusia and arrival in Seville in the early evening.

Day 8 : Seville

• Visit to Seville Cathedral and climb up the Giralda.

Day 9 : Granada and the Alhambra

Day 10 : From Granada to Madrid

Day 11 : Madrid and journey to Valencia

Day 12 : Valencia and Barcelona

Day 15 : Return to Belgium

• A short walk in Vieux Lyon before departure.
