Day trip to the Moselle for your group: a guided tour of Eltz Castle, then the riverside village of Beilstein.
Hidden in a wooded valley above the Moselle, Eltz Castle has belonged to the same family for more than eight centuries. Its towers and pointed roofs make it one of the most photographed castles in Germany, and its rooms have kept their original furniture and armour. In the afternoon, Beilstein, nicknamed “the Sleeping Beauty of the Moselle”, charms with its cobbled lanes, half-timbered houses and the ruins of its castle overlooking the river.
Programme
- Early morning departure from the place of your choice.
- Arrival at Eltz Castle at around 10.30 am.
- Access to the castle on foot through the forest or by shuttle bus from the car park.
- Guided tour of the castle interior.
- Visit to the treasury (on request).
- Reserved group lunch (on request).
- Drive to Beilstein and stroll through the village.
- Short cruise on the Moselle (on request).
- Departure from Beilstein at around 5.00 pm and return to your area in the evening.

Good to know

- Eltz Castle is open from April to early November; the interior can only be visited on a guided tour.
- The path to the castle is sloping: wear comfortable shoes.
- Boats run mainly from April to October.
