A 3-day city trip to Dresden for your group: Frauenkirche, Zwinger, a boat on the Elbe and the Bastei rocks in Saxon Switzerland.

Rebuilt stone by stone after the war, Dresden has regained the Baroque skyline that earned it the nickname 'Florence on the Elbe'. Your group discovers the Frauenkirche, the Zwinger, the Semperoper and the long Procession of Princes made of Meissen porcelain tiles. Less than an hour's drive away, Saxon Switzerland reveals its remarkable sandstone formations, including the Bastei Bridge high above the Elbe.

Programme

Day 1 : Journey to Saxony

  • Morning departure from the location of your choice.
  • Drive to Dresden, with regular breaks along the way.
  • Arrival in the late afternoon and check-in at the hotel.
  • Dinner in the hotel restaurant (on request).

Day 2 : Baroque Dresden and Saxon Switzerland

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Guided walking tour of the old town: Frauenkirche, Zwinger, Semperoper, Procession of Princes and Brühl's Terrace (on request).
  • In the afternoon, drive to Saxon Switzerland and walk to the Bastei Bridge, with views over the Elbe valley.
  • Visit to Königstein Fortress (on request).
  • Group dinner in a Saxon restaurant (on request).

Day 3 : The Elbe and return

  • Breakfast at the hotel.
  • Paddle steamer trip on the Elbe (on request).
  • Or a visit to the Green Vault, the treasury of the Saxon princes (on request).
  • Return journey in the late morning.
  • Arrival back in your region in the evening.

  • Departure and return times are adapted to your group's pick-up point.
  • A valid identity card is required for every participant.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
