A 3-day city trip to Dijon and Beaune for your group: Ducal Palace, the Owl's Trail, the Hospices de Beaune and the Route des Grands Crus.

Former capital of the Dukes of Burgundy, Dijon is explored by following the Owl's Trail arrows, from their palace to the Church of Notre-Dame. To the south, the Route des Grands Crus runs through villages with famous names, such as Gevrey-Chambertin and Vougeot, amid UNESCO-listed vineyards. In Beaune, the Hôtel-Dieu of the Hospices, founded in 1443, displays its glazed tile roofs and Rogier van der Weyden's Last Judgement altarpiece.

Programme

Day 1 : Journey to Dijon

  • Morning departure from the location of your choice.
  • Arrival in Dijon in the afternoon.
  • Walk along the Owl's Trail to the Church of Notre-Dame.
  • Guided tour of the historic centre and the Ducal Palace (on request).
  • Check-in at the hotel.
  • Burgundian dinner in a restaurant (on request).

Day 2 : The Route des Grands Crus and Beaune

  • Route des Grands Crus via Gevrey-Chambertin and Vougeot.
  • Visit to the Château du Clos de Vougeot (on request).
  • Arrival in Beaune and discovery of the Hôtel-Dieu of the Hospices de Beaune.
  • Burgundy wine tasting in a cellar in Beaune, for adults (on request).
  • Free time in town, then return to Dijon.

Day 3 : Gourmet Dijon and the journey home

  • Visit to the Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin (on request).
  • Free time to shop for mustard, gingerbread or crème de cassis.
  • Return journey in the early afternoon.
  • Arrival back in your region in the evening.

Cancellation and refund protection

Optional, to be taken when booking: you can cancel without giving a reason and get the base price of the trip back, provided your request reaches us at least 48 hours before departure for a day trip, 7 days before if admission tickets are included, 14 days before for a trip with overnight stays. Price: 7 % of the trip up to €1,000, 5 % from €1,001 to €2,500, 3.5 % above.
